To the attention of the certified companies and engineers,

In accordance with the application decision taken for '' there must be equipment to break the gas flow and panel electric in case of quake in earthquake area'' Article 113 of Regulations regarding the protection of the buildings against fire;

1. In the column installation projects to be approved by December the 12th 2005 automatic gas breaking device sensing the seismic     movement will be checked.

The construction license in the application will be predicated on.
a.   The buildings with construction license after July the 26th 2002 and it is compulsory for the buildings needing construction license
b.   For the buildings having license before July the 26th 2002 it will be voluntary.
c.   it will be compulsory for the building that can not document construction license or that has no construction license.
d.   it is also the legal obligation for the buildings that have got gas between the issue date of regulation July the 26th 2002 and December       the 12th 2005 and for those whose construction license is after July the 26th of 2002.

2. In the application of the retrospective gaseous installations of the gas breaking device sensing the seismic movement, in cases the     direction of the installation does not change, special purpose modification project and in case it changes the normal modification     project will be required.

3. A training program has been arranged in which the detailed information and technical matters will be told regarding the application of     the gas breaking device sensing the seismic movement. It is compulsory for the certified companies and the engineers to take this     training.  An additional program will not be performed other than the specified program.  The company engineers who do not     participate this training will not be able to perform device mounting and applications.
